I have been struggling with the idea of whether or not to keep my 365 going. I know that I am not on the true calendar year since I started this on February first two years ago, but I wanted to keep it a true 365. To mess it up even more, I am not even going to finish out this full year of 365s.
After weighing my options and considering what is most important, I have come to the conclusion that I just can't do it all. Now that the girls are getting older and becoming more active, it is hard for me to keep up with it along with our family blog. I have decided that I want to focus my attention on our family blog and I want to begin working on my Blog Books for the girls.
While I have enjoyed my 365....and I have loved that I have been able to take a picture everyday...and I have been able to capture little snip-its of our everyday lives...I feel like this is the perfect time to end it.
I appreciate those of you who have read it and who have commented...I really have enjoyed doing it.

Landry got this Wii game for Christmas (Big Sis got Just Dance 2)...her very first game and she LOVES it. The girls entertained themselves this morning by getting their groove on. Landry's faves are dancing to Happy Birthday, the ABCs, and BINGO.
I love that they are moving around getting some good exercise while playing a video game.

Family Game night playing Guess Who was so much fun. Ashton has wanted this game for a long time and her cousin Chris came through for her at Christmas this year since he drew her name.

I had a TON of laundry to do today and I got it all washed and in the basket ready to be folded.
I had planned on folding it tonight after the girls were in bed, but a certain little almost three year decided she needed something out of the basket immediately which is why there are pieces of clean laundry strewn everywhere.
So much for my nice neat pile of laundry to fold.

We headed home from Alabama today and we always stop in Texarkana for dinner and we always get a little treat at Dairy Queen after din-din before we head the rest of the way to our casa.

I couldn't resist the fact that Uncle Todd's boots are about half as big as Landry. It was even funnier seeing her trying to walk in them.

We woke up to a truly magical sight this morning...it was snowing! It hasn't snowed on Christmas in Alabama since 1989 and this was the most snow they have ever had.
This is the second year in a row that our girls have had a White Christmas. The girls were already excited and the snow just pushed them over the edge!
Merry Christmas!

The girls are so excited and ready for Santa to come. Ashton wrote him a note, they each chose 2 cookies for Santa and they made Reindeer food.

One of our traditions is to get the girls dressed in their jammies and go look at the Christmas lights. We usually do it on Christmas Eve, but since we were in Alabama this year and they had a super cool lights display that was not going to be open on Christmas Eve we went tonight instead.
It was so neat...and I have never seen so many lights before. Ashton oohed and aahed over the lights. We always go to the Botanical Gardens in Huntsville every summer when we come so it was fun to see it transformed into a beautiful lights display!

The girls had an extra special Christmas Tradition treat...they got to make their Christmas cookies with Mamo and Uncle Todd this year. They were so excited...the only way it would have been better was if Peyton and Cameron could have been there too.

All this fun zebra print fleece is a project for the girls to work on while we are Mamo's and Papo's house this week. ARB is so beyond excited--she can hardly stand it!

Here is the second major car catastrophe for us in two days. We left this morning on our way to Alabama for Christmas. We unexpectedly spent 3 hours in Texarkana getting the tired on BB's car fixed. You can see the S-hook that was in the road and in the tire. The whole tired had to be replaced.
Not a fun way to start our trip!

Today girls had fun at their second birthday party of the weekend. Yesterday they danced their booties off with Carly and today they bounced and played with Parker.

This morning we had ANOTHER MAJOR DEBOCKLE with my car which is still under warranty. We were headed to meet Megan and Parker for breakfast when my car totally shutdown...like turned itself off and quit working while we were driving...right there in the middle of the road! We had absolutely no power what-so-ever, we couldn't even use On Star since there was no power.
The police just happened to pull up behind us and while they were checking things out, noticed my inspection was expired (and luckily they didn't give us a ticket--I think they felt bad since Landry was hysterical and totally freaking out).
Megan and Parker came to pick up me and the girls while BB stayed with the car. We had planned on just driving through McDonald's, grabbing breakfast and just eating at the house. But as we pulled up to our house, I realized I didn't have a key or the garage door opener. Nice.
By this time BB was riding in the tow truck with my car. We met him at the dealership and brought him home and finally had breakfast. The girls and Parker were so good during all of this!
Good thing for us Megan just got a new Tahoe so she had enough room for the three kids' seats plus me and BB.
Oh and I think I forgot to mention that I had had a lot of fun at girls night last night...to the point where I really needed some good greasy food. What a nice way to start your Saturday. Oh and this all happened and was over by 9:45 in the morning.

Today Ashton had her winter party at school. It was a crazy busy day...since I am one of the room parents for Ashton's class I was up at the school at 1:00 then we had our carpets cleaned, a showing, met Megan, Brodie, and Parker at the mall for a bit, then I had a girls night with some sweet and super fun friends.
It was a lot to cram in the day but I loved every part of it!
