This is what was once a Gingerbread House...one that our sweet ARB made at school...but by the time she munched on it a bit, and she carried it home from school in the wind, this was how it arrived.  

She was thrilled beyond measure to have made this at school. 

It was an exciting day in third grade that is for sure!

I have my Baylor Gear on ready to watch the #3 Lady Bears take on the #7 Tennessee Vols. It should be a great game! I am glad I can watch it on tv but bummed that I can't be there to watch it live!

Well...the day that someone figured out how to get OUT of her crib has finally arrived!

She made her first great escape last night and we were TOTALLY surprised (and scared)!  Now that I know she can do it, it adds a whole new level of worry. I don't feel comfortable putting her in her crib because "what if she falls out when she is trying to get out"...what then?

We weren't planning on putting her in a big girl bed until we moved into the new house...so for now, this is how she sleeps.  She was so proud and so happy to have her mattress on the floor just like a big girl.  She did great and went to sleep with no problems and slept really really well!

So for now, since Grace is not her middle name, she will "learn" how to sleep without being in a crib which means if when she falls, she isn't falling far. Do I love that this is the new set up...no way, but I can live with it temporarily!

I spent the day getting these bad boys ready to go out...I am determined to have them in the mailbox by tomorrow. I feel like I am SO behind...it will feel so good to check something else off my list!

We made our first batch of Chex mix today..this is one of the many traditions we love and this year the girls had a blast helping with it!

I love Holiday Cards.....love, love, love them!

I normally love hanging them on my kitchen cabinets to display them...however this year, they are being displayed in this boring basket (the basket can easily be put away when we have a showing) since we can't exactly do things our "normal" way this year.

A certain two year old in our house is slightly {okay a lot} obsessed with these foam bath letters and just HAS to sort them during every bath.  She refused to get out of the tub tonight without sorting the letters first.

Who am I to stop her...certainly not the teacher in me!

This little tree was delivered to our doorstep on Friday afternoon as a surprise for the girls from their Daddy. It came complete with ornaments and lights for the girls to decorate it with.

He is so sweet...I love him and his precious heart!

 He sure does have a soft spot for those two little girls!

Today was BIRTHDAY SATURDAY  in our house.  The girls had three parties...Ashton had two and Landry had one in edition to it being my birthday.

These days our littlest girl is in love with playing puzzles and games.  Her newest discovery is "Canny Lanny" or also known as Candy Land.  I love how her little voice says, "Mommy can you pay Canny Lanny wif me?"

You wanna know what this is?

Well...it is Jodi jumping my car because the battery died while I was sitting in the parking lot with her today when I thought the car was off, but it wasn't!

I had to call my hubs so he could give us step-by-step instructions on how exactly to use the jumper cables...my dad taught me how to use them back when I was learning to drive, but in all my many, many  years of driving I have NEVER had to use them! Never.

There are lots of details that go along with this picture and really, if we could have taken more pictures it would have been even funnier! Jodi has called me "Jump Start" today and the thought of the whole incident just makes me laugh all over.
