I am not one of those moms who dresses up to take her kids trick or treating...only because I spend enough time getting the girls ready, I don't really have time to think about a costume for myself much less get myself ready. I do however, wear a Halloween shirt and cute Halloween socks and this year Mamo (my mother-in-law) was sporting cute socks right along with me!

Today was a FANTASTIC and very historical day for my Baylor Bears...this was the first time they have played an unranked UT team in YEARS, and the first time Baylor has been ranked and Texas has not been ranked...and the Baylor Bears WON!!!!!

We had "bevo" burgers for dinner before the game, we all dressed in our Baylor gear, and we watched the game on TV...it was a great night!  Sic Em Bears!!!!

Here is  a sneak  peak at one of the girls' costumes for this year.  They had a little My Gym Halloween Shin Dig today and they were both so excited to have the chance to wear their costumes another time and I like having a "trial run" to see how everything looks for the Big Day!

Our BG participated in her school's Boosterthon today and it was so much fun!

I was impressed with how well the event was run!

Today was Landry's Halloween Class at My Gym and she had an absolute BLAST!  She was especially excited that she got to wear her costume to class and she loved seeing her friends' costumes too!

The girls are set with PLENTY of glow-in-the-dark garb so they will be seen while they are Trick-or-Treating this weekend.  Landry cannot wait to bust open these packages....we had a fit or two today when she realized she had to wait...it is tough being 2!

Ashton hit the "Boosterthon Jackpot" today. She has been raising money so her school can buy a shade cover for their playground and this year her school is doing a Boosterthon Fun Run and she is so PUMPED about this fundraiser. She has been way more excited and involved in this one than any other one we have EVER done.

The money she has raised so far has earned her silly bands, a Frisbee, super cool sunglasses, and her fave the glow-in-the-dark football.

We visited a new pumpkin patch tent today...this time Lan-Lan had her Big Sisser and Macy and Carly with her!  The pumpkins the girls picked are the "real" pumpkins...the ones Daddy will carve for them!!

We rented this game for Ashton and let me just tell you that she absolutely LOVES it....like she spent 2 and half hours getting her groove on  and the only reason she stopped was because we made her come eat dinner. I think this might just need to be added to our collection in the future!

At this exact moment today, Landry and I were sitting in the car.  At this exact time on every other normal day, LP is taking a nap all comfy in her own bed. This poor girl has been disrupted from her nap more times than I would like as a result of people wanting to look at our house. 

She has been a trooper...I just hope this doesn't last much longer!

Today we had a special after school snack since it was Spirit Day for ARB's school.  The girls loved their Nana frozen yogurt. They both had orange...Ashton had kiwi  and gummy worms on hers while Landry had oreos and halloween sprinkles on hers.

Ashton bought this "Best Friends Necklace"  with her own hard earned allowance money last weekend. She has had her eye on this at Justice and could not wait to buy it and give the other half to Macy.  She was even more excited to actually give it to MG...her BFF. 

She was oozing with excitement and so anxious for Macy to arrive at dance so she could "present" this special gift to MG.

I think it is absolutely precious...and I also can't get over how "Big Girl" that is!

Here is another "first" that I wasn't quite ready for when I opened LP's backpack today...but I am excited about it for Landry.

And I am excited because I LOVE book orders!

I know I have already done a 365 picture like this back in January when Ashton was first learning to write in cursive, but I decided I wanted to do another one now that she is writing in cursive all.the.time!

I knew she was "re-learning" all the letters and since they finished them up on Friday, her teacher gave them the go ahead to write in all cursive all the time if they wanted.  So when she was doing her homework today and I looked over and saw this...I just about fell over. Really?!  That looks way BIG to me and I just wasn't ready for this next step to happen just yet.

I also love the "beginning-ness" she has when she writes in cursive.  And let me tell you...this girl is so proud of her cursive and she thinks it is so cool that she can write in cursive now!
