photo 73...

This was the scene standing outside of the dance studio today....

...and now the details...

As mentioned numerous times before, Macy and Ashton take two dance classes on Tuesday afternoons. The first one is 45 minutes and the second one is 30 minutes. Well, that is a looonng time for the little sisters to hang out so when the weather is nice, we go for a walk. In fact, Carly starts asking when we can for a walk during the first class.

Just like usual, we headed out for our walk around the block {our route makes a circle}. As we were leaving we saw smoke, but just assumed it was from a car that was driving away... so we continued on. In maybe 5-7 minutes as we were finishing our circle, we walk up and see tons of smoke and a fire truck....then we spot a car....on fire! Yes...you read that correctly.....A CAR WAS ON FIRE. A few people (not firefighters but employees from the area) were telling us that we may want to stay back. No way Jose....our girls were in the dance studio and we didn't want to be outside where they weren't. Trying to stay calm {so we didn't scare Carly~she was already unsure of the whole thing as it was} we turned and went back the way we came.

By the time we got back around to the studio, the firefighters were finished putting the fire out and all was good. So what do we do....yepper...snap a picture for our 365!

WOW....that isn't something you see everyday. Other than a guy's car catching on fire under the hood....everything turned out just fine. When dance was over, the big girls came out just as the fire truck was leaving so they were naturally curious. They had no idea there had been a car fire right outside the studio.

This makes two fire instances for Ashton in the last 4 days...her school was evacuated on Friday for smoke in which fire fighters and police were called. I think we have had our fill of this for a while!
