mmmmmmmmmm....skittles and popcorn....de-lish! This is our traditional "movie night" snack along with a cup of nice cold water!We have "movie night" every week. Most times it is on Friday nights, but since we had a dinner date with the Leonards last night and Ashton went to help some neighbors make a "Welcome Home Allie" sign for Baby Allie, we decided to move our movie night to Saturday this week.
We watched Madagascar 2" Escape From Africa. It was quite a delightful movie with a great cast of voices. Bobby and I picked up on a lot of humor that Ashton didn't get...she just laughed after we did!
Oh how we love this movie night tradition. Today as we were running some errands, I asked Ashton if she looks forward to "Movie Night" each week...and she responded with "Oh Yes!" I then asked her if she would still want to have movie night with us when she was a teenager and she said "Yes, Mommy" with a tone of "why wouldn't I?" and "Why did you even ask that question?"
Soon, Landry will get to be a part of our "Movie Nights"...that is the only thing that could make them any better!
