Wednesday Mornings.Since Landry turned two in January, this is the place where she and I spend our Wednesday mornings. I can't say enough fabulous things about this swim school. Ashton took lessons there in Kindergarten until she broke her arm and did so great. We knew we wanted Landry to have lessons there too-I only wish we had started her much earlier.
Landry is VERY TWO and some days she likes swimming lessons and some days she absolutely hates it. Actually, she liked it up until she reached the 4-5 second range of being under water. Since then when it is her turn to swim from Miss Sara to me she cries up until right when she goes under. It is funny and she knows exactly when to turn it off and hold her breath!
Today however, she did great and swam like a little fish and didn't cry once AND she even KICKED while she was swimming. I think she might be figuring out that crying isn't going to get her out of it. So maybe, just maybe she is learning that crying doesn't get you what you want!
She gets to continue her skills in the summer session without Mommy in the water with her...that should be interesting to say the least!

Ahhh that is so cute to think about... crying just until she has to hold her breath... that's one smart cookie!
Yeah for Landry! Glad to hear she turned that corner. I too, wish we had started earlier now that we finally started. (I can't wait until I don't have to be in the water!)
